iRepair Installation

We provide installation services for everyone from home users to enterprise and education users.

For home users we are able to install and configure their Mac to work with their home network and give them some training on the basics of the system. This is a particularly valued service by new Mac users who may have limited or no experience with OS X.

Small to medium sized businesses often find that the time saved by having us install their hardware and software for them pays for itself many times over. Our experience enables us to smooth the transition to new systems, helps users adjust to new workflows and in general gets new installations up and running in the shortest time possible.

For customers who we have provided consultancy services for installation is a natural addition to our expert advice and planning. We can provide the consultancy, the hardware and software, we can then install the systems and finally supply after-sales support and training. For enterprise and education users our options for installation include systems tailored towards the type of large deployments more commonly found in these larger organisations. These may include setting up NetBoot servers to automate the installation of tens or hundreds of Macs with ease, or in alternative imaging systems that can rapidly deploy entire departments, such as USB sticks pre-configured to allow Macs to be quickly and automatically installed and configured from the USB stick itself. Finally we can also supply Macs directly to site pre-installed with an agreed company image.

iRepair Support

Support means different things for different people, so we tailor our offers to make sure that our customers are getting exactly what they need, when they need it. We offer both ad-hoc support for single incidents and monthly or yearly support contracts.

Our Mac support contracts can be customised very precisely, varying on response times, different levels of remote support including complete helpdesk services, on-site support and more. The basic “building blocks” of our support are:
  • Remote Support. Telephone and email support as well as direct assistance via Apple Remote Desktop. Remote support can be specified with various levels of response-time, and include levels of out-of-hours support. Furthermore we can provide a complete outsourced Mac helpdesk solution, an ideal option for companies with little or no on-site Mac expertise. Remote server support can include complete monitoring of servers and services, including hardware monitoring, often allowing us to troubleshoot server issues before they become a problem for end users.
  •  On-site Support. This support level includes guaranteed response times, with on-site attendance by an engineer or consultant. This support level can include all call-out costs over the course of a year. Our on-site support options also includes Remote Support.
  • Full support. The complete option for customers who want their Macs completely managed. Including Remote Support and On-site Support, this level also covers hardware. If a problem proves to be a hardware issue we will replace the damaged part. This support level can also include loan equipment so users suffer no down-time in the case of hardware failure.
These support options can be entirely tailored to a client’s exact needs, and can be arranged for both standard Mac systems and for Mac server systems, including Xserves and associated hardware and software (eg. RAID arrays, backup solutions and SAN systems, including Xsan).

iRepair Consultancy

We provide a range of Mac consultancy services that start at solving specific problems all the way through to complete deployment, training and maintenance planning. Our consultancy experience ranges from working with large multinational companies, universities and entire school education authorities, to working with design studios, printers and sole traders. As a result we can offer a number of unique advantages to our customers including:

  • Knowledge of hardware and software used at all levels of business scale and complexity, including SAN and Fibre Channel deployments, tape backup solutions, and RAID systems.
